When it comes to social transformation, youth are the real change agents. I strongly believe that educating, capacitating and sensitizing youngsters is essential to reshape society at large.
Pink Ribbon Campaign Pakistan (PRCP), in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC), has been successfully running its Youth Program in more than 200 colleges and universities across Pakistan since 2012.
Pink Ribbon’s Youth Program is especially designed to aware and empower the youngsters, particularly girls, to help us minimizing Breast Cancer driven female mortality in Pakistan by resorting to Breast Self-Examination and screening, dispersing our word widely in the society and raising funds for Breast Cancer hospital.
The aim of our Youth Program is to persuade young boys and girls to get aware of the Breast Cancer and be the torchbearers to spread our word in the society.
In our youth program, we have educated and sensitized more than 1 million female students so far and this process is going on with full zest. Each year, in the month of October, we run a nationwide PINKtober campaign and reach out to as many as 200 educational institutes with different interesting activities and IEC material.
